Locked UpIn the empty wing Of a deserted dorm, I pry and twist, Trying to pick the locks On my trunk, On my heart, With a paper clip And a tack That was lying lonely on the floor. Because of this I am late, Because of this I fly Down an old cracked And crooked brick walk, Skirt a flailing green panic, Tangling my legs in its confusion, Hair an angry stream, Striving and succeeding in Freeing itself from its Loose prison of wood and leather. Because of this I am late To my best friends Graduation.Locked Up

Dryad InformationFirst, you need to understand that no matter how much magic is stored inside a tree, they are always vaguely aware. The more magic they get, the more aware they become. And trees need lots and lots of magic before they actually 'wake up' and become dryads. The change is usually preceded by a huge amount of magic being wasted by the tree in question. And the magic doesn't wake the tree up right away. It could take hours, days, or even years after the tree has gained enough power to wake up. However, if there is a huge shock of energy - lots and lots of energy put into one tree (and only one tree) then the tree may be shocked into waking up. ThDryad Information

The DoorwayWe all sit inside the silence And we sit inside the light And we know something is stirring Past the doorway in the night. The Doorway
We all tell ourselves it's nothing But we recognize the lie If we say that there is something That's the point when we all die.
So we crowd around the doorway 'Fraid to scatter into night For outside we know It's lurking And we're safe inside the light.
